Cole Weston

Cole Weston, son of the legendary photographer Edward Weston, carved his own niche in the world of photography with his exquisite images. Born in 1919, Cole inherited his father's passion for photography and pursued it with dedication and skill. He honed his craft working alongside his father in the darkroom, mastering the technical aspects of the art form, eventually making his name in color photography.

Notable achievements include his contribution to the continuation of the Weston family legacy, expanding upon his father's pioneering work in the medium. Cole's keen eye for detail and composition is evident, as he was the only person (after Brett) allowed to print from Edwards Westons negatives. He has printed many of Edwards best known works, including Pepper No. 30 and Vertical Shell.
